> woa its been a while since ive posted here... it is a little tedious logging on and changing code and things but thats how things are at the moment. things have been good ive been moving farward steadily i feel but its still hard to know if im doing the right things. been lowke addicted to both terarria and C++/SDL3 recently and I have made a game for a game jam that i just finished this weekend (im writing this at like 1am whoops)
anyway I played this game from the game jam and it was super fun and ive never felt like this from a sort of story based game before, idk i feel it really captured the feeling of not really being part of something but still observing it and having some conection to it. i think it was really good here it is

> minecraft 26.1 is meant to come out on tuesday i think and idk if i should maybe try doing a longplay series for that first before i do vintage story, i think i still should record in clips but just have them much longer so i have time to think without the pressure of creating content so that the actual recorded time im just doing tasks rather than doing things ive not really thought about properly, maybe its worth a try doing this with a game im more familiar with first.

> i finished recording and rendering the Vintage Story longplay video yesterday but idk if i like it, i felt that the gameplay wasn't very interesting and i didn;t get much done. i think perhaps having the idea that it was just a test video rather than a long term world made it feel like i dondt really care about what i was doing. i think i have learned from this though and it will help me once i make the proper series

> i'm going to be starting a new Vintage Story youtube series soon, there will be a test video first just to see how things are and then the series will start once 1.22 releases. it will be a longplay series about 3h episodes and it will be very relaxed so you can listen and watch while you are doing things and use it as background noise while studying, sleeping or relaxing.
